ABOUT LADYPANTALOONS

LadyPantaloons is a one-woman show run by Nashville's very own Sarah Westervelt. Sarah was taught to sew when she was 7 years old by her grandmother. She quickly fell in love with the art. She has developed her own unique and fun sense of fashion within the art of sewing and works to create a platform that promotes individuality and creativity. Every single piece Sarah makes is one of a kind.

Ladypantaloons prides itself on keeping its business as low-waste as possible. Every single scrap gets used down to the smallest thread. Scraps too small to be sewn with go in what is lovingly called "The Chum Bucket." They are then used as stuffing for various projects.

90% of the materials used by LadyPantaloons are acquired second-hand. Through donations from retiring crafters, various thrift shops, and her grandmother's old hoarding piles of fabric, Sarah has been able to limit her contribution to the world's textile waste problem.
